Meet Dr. Paula Sinnott, a highly esteemed Specialist and Consultant Orthodontist in Dublin. With a career marked by dedication and excellence, Dr. Sinnott has established herself as a leading orthodontist, renowned for her expertise in managing patients requiring all types of orthodontic needs.
After graduating with an Honours degree in Dentistry from Cork University Dental Hospital in 2014, Dr. Sinnott gained invaluable experience in a busy general dental practice before advancing to a Senior House Officer role in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Her passion for Orthodontics led her to the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in London, where she completed a full time 3-year Specialist Orthodontist training program.
During her training, Dr. Sinnott earned a Master’s degree in Orthodontics with distinction from University College London and achieved Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and London. Her dedication to the field was further demonstrated when she secured a coveted position in the national Consultant Orthodontist training program at the University of Bristol Dental Hospital, culminating in a Fellowship in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons.
As a Consultant Orthodontist in Dublin, Dr. Sinnott is highly skilled in treating complex bite issues, including those requiring combined Surgical and Restorative care. She is also actively involved in teaching and training future Orthodontists and Dentists affiliated with Trinity College Dublin.
Dr. Sinnott’s commitment to delivering outstanding orthodontic care has earned her numerous accolades from the European, Irish and British Orthodontic Societies, including the Professor W.J.B. Houston Award, the S.P. Jones Award, and the Best Clinical Effectiveness Award. These awards are a testament to her dedication to the field of orthodontics and her pursuit of clinical excellence.
Dr. Sinnott is registered with the Irish Dental Council and holds memberships in the Irish, and European Orthodontic Societies, ensuring that she remains at the forefront of advancements in orthodontic care. She has also completed a Fellowship in Aligner Therapy.
